About the Author

My name is Carolyn, and for the past decade, I have worked as an educator in one form or another at high schools, universities, and nonprofit organizations in Nashville, Tennessee. I recently uprooted my life to move to Baltimore, which is about as far north as you can get without leaving the south, and vice versa.

I write creative non-fiction about education, mental health, professional fulfillment, personal boundaries, and the female experience. When not blogging, I spend most of my time helping teenagers discover their dreams and having philosophical discussions with my dog Goose, who is quite frankly a lot smarter than I am.
